Safeguarding Policy

HOPE maintains a zero-tolerance policy against fraud, corruption, bribery, terrorism financing, child abuse, sexual abuse, modern slavery, and human rights violations. We understand that abuse often stems from power imbalances, which can occur anywhere, even within our own teams. We’re also mindful of the power dynamics in our relationships with service users, partners, and the communities they serve.

Our commitment to safeguarding includes:

  • Training: We provide training to our staff and volunteers, enabling them to understand and adhere to our safeguarding policies.
  • Policy Review: We review our policies periodically and with our stakeholders to ensure alignment with HOPE’s mission and specific community context.

This approach reinforces our dedication to preventing abuse and promoting a safe environment for everyone we work with.
